This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of children with additional needs.The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils with a range of complex SEND needs, working both on a one-to-one basis and within the classroom alongside the class teacher and wider SEND team. This is a highly rewarding role where building trusting relationships, providing consistency and helping pupils reach their full potential are at the heart of everything you do.The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:Support pupils with high levels of additional needs both individually and within the classroom.Work closely with pupils who are non-verbal and require tailored communication strategies.Support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated communication and language needs.Follow individual support plans, behaviour strategies and established classroom routines.Encourage communication, independence, emotional regulation and social development.Work collaboratively with teachers, SEND professionals and families to ensure the best possible outcomes ..... full job details .....
