Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support students in Key Stages 3 and 4 at a secondary school in the Oldham area. This role is ideal for someone experienced in working with students aged 11-16, or a recent graduate looking to gain classroom experience.

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: -100.00 - -120.00 per day
Teaching Assistant Role Overview
- Provide support to students across KS3 & KS4
- Assist in a range of classroom activities and small-group interventions
- Support students with additional needs where required
- Help maintain a calm and consistent learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents
- Take part in activities such as exam support and general classroom assistance
Experience, Training & Qualifications
- Experience working in a secondary school or with young people
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided)
- Prevent, behaviour management, and FGM training (can be provided)
Requirements
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Two professional references covering the last two years
