Teaching Assistant

P+S Recruitment are seeking-enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants-to support learners across Primary, Secondary and Further Education settings on a-full-time, temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for experienced TAs, education professionals, graduates or those looking to gain valuable experience in education.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective learning activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to learners.
• Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
• Help maintain a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
• Encourage positive behaviour, participation and learner engagement.
• Support students with their learning and development.
• Build positive and professional relationships with learners and teaching staff.
• Assist with general classroom and educational activities.
• Adapt to different age groups, subjects and educational settings.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience working with children, young people or learners is desirable.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships.
• Reliable, professional and adaptable.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Confident supporting learners in a classroom environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in education, childcare, youth work or a related field are desirable.
