SEN Teaching Assistant Stafford Location: Stafford (ST18) Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only Salary: £95.00 £110.00 per day (depending on experience) Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs? The Role As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs. Support children with SEND, autism, communication difficulties, behavioural needs and additional learning needs. Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage confidence, independence and engagement. Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom to help them access the curriculum. Assist teachers with delivering engaging lessons and adapting activities to meet individual learning needs. Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop their social, emotional and communication skills.
