Teaching AssistantLocation: Erdington, B23Pay Rate: £110 - £120 per dayStart Date: ASAP Contract: Monday - Friday, long-term temp to perm.Long Term Futures are recruiting for a nurturing and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham, Erdington. This role is based within Early Years, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with additional needs, alongside providing general classroom support. A significant part of the role will involve 1:1 support with pupils who have SEN, helping them to access learning through tailored strategies, structured routines and consistent support.The role is a long-term position with the opportunity to turn permanent for someone who is passionate about early intervention, patient in their approach, and confident adapting support to meet a range of needs within a classroom environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and whole classroom support for pupils with EHCPs within a KS1 settingDeliver targeted small group interventions to support learning and developmentSupport pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, SEMH and communication difficultiesAdapt learning activities to meet individual needs and abilitiesSupport early learning including phonics, literacy and numeracyImplement strategies to support behaviour, engagement and emotional regulationIdeal Candidate Profile:A Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning Qualification, or relevant subject is requiredExperience supporting pupils with EHCPPrevious ..... full job details .....
