TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of mainstream schools across Selly Oak, offering welcoming and inclusive environments. These schools are committed to supporting students of all abilities, with a strong focus on engagement, development and creating positive learning experiences.

The schools are looking to take on a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working across both Primary and Secondary settings, providing general classroom support as well as supporting students with SEND needs, ensuring all learners are engaged and supported throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
• Experience working within a school setting
• Experience supporting students with SEND
• Strong communication and classroom support skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• A positive and patient attitude
