SEND Teaching Assistant - Intervention Support - Rotherham

This rewarding opportunity involves delivering targeted intervention programmes to children with SEND and learning difficulties, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.

About the Role:
We are looking for committed Teaching Assistants who are able to work a minimum of 3 days per week, with solid experience working with children who have additional needs such as autism, speech and language challenges, ADHD, or moderate learning difficulties.

Responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children through structured interventions on a one-to-one or small group basis

• Adapting learning materials and techniques to suit individual needs

• Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to track progress and share strategies

• Encouraging pupils'' independence, confidence, and engagement

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a primary school setting

• A good understanding of special educational needs and intervention delivery

• A patient, nurturing, and proactive attitude

• Flexible availability for at least 3 days per week
