Tradewind are recruiting for a Primary Teaching Assistant to work full-time in a supportive SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Wigan, supporting a small class of up to 8 children alongside an experienced class teacher.

Role Details:

Location: Wigan

• Full-time position
• Working with a class of up to 8 children with SEMH needs
• Supporting teaching and learning as the class TA
• Start Date: September 2025

• Experience working with children with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour (preferred)
• Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
• Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
