Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantJob Type: TemporaryDuration: On-goingLocation: Runcorn Salary: £98 - £110 per dayWorking Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am 3:45pm Core Education is currently working with schools in the Runcorn area who have requirements for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant.SEN Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities: Create an inclusive learning environmentFacilitate communication between students, teachers and parentsMotivate and engage studentsProvide 1:1 support to students with additional learning needsSupport the teacher to plan innovative and engaging lessons which will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilitiesWork with children''s EHCP plans supporting their learningPromote learning and personal development of students, adapting learning activities to meet the needs of the children SEN Teaching Assistant Experience: Excellent knowledge of the National CurriculumExperience working with students with additional needs such as, ASD, PMLD, Global delay, Downs sydrone or MLD or SLD.Be able to demonstrate recent classroom experience and strong behaviour management skillsBe committed to supporting the children where necessaryHave previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or relevant experience of working with childrenWorking within a SEN school or Primary school setting and be confident in using their initiativeQualification within Education is desirable The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will need an Enhanced DBS on ..... full job details .....
