Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education is currently working with a Special Needs schools in the London borough of Bromley, who are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work with secondary aged students up to the age of 18.

The majority of the roles are 1:1, and will be supporting students with social, emotional and mental health issues (SEMH).

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities include:
- To provide a safe, supportive and nuturing classroom environment.
- To liaise with the lead teacher in preparing the classroom.
- Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles.
- Track and monitor student progression.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.

The right candidate MUST have:
- Experience of working with children or young adults.
- Knowledge of working with a range of additional needs such as SEMH.
- A full RTW in the UK.
