SEN Teaching Assistant - Bury Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only Pay: £465 to £550 per week (dependent on experience) Start Date: ASAP Aspire People is working in partnership with a growing Multi Academy Trust in Bury to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time position within Key Stage 1. The school provides a caring and supportive environment for pupils of all backgrounds. The role will focus primarily on supporting pupils with SEN, particularly those with autism and SEMH needs, helping them access learning, regulate their emotions and achieve positive outcomes both academically and socially. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider support staff to provide targeted support for pupils who require additional assistance throughout the school day. You will help create a positive and engaging learning environment where pupils feel safe, valued and able to succeed. The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, resilient and confident building strong relationships with children who may require additional support with behaviour, communication and emotional regulation.
