You ll support secondary-aged children, including those with additional needs, such as Autism and Complex Needs, helping them thrive in their learning journey. The SEND Teaching Assistant Role: Start Date: Tuesday 1st Sept 2026.Contract: Long-term, with potential for permanency.Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am 3:30 pm.Pay: £95-115 per day (DOE), paid PAYE directly through Cover People. What You ll Be Doing: Assist in the classroom, providing support to both individual pupils and small groups.Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Help children develop confidence, social skills, and a love for learning.Collaborate with teachers and staff to deliver tailored support for each child.Encourage independence and celebrate each child s achievements.
