The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils in their learning, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment. You will provide support to individuals and small groups, helping children to develop academically, socially and emotionally.You must be confident and comfortable supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required, adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of each child. Responsibilities Support teaching and learning within the classroom. Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning. Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and activities. Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required. Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff to support pupil progress.
