Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant - Ashford Academics are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join one of our fantastic client schools in Ashford from September. This is a full-time opportunity, working 5 days per week, supporting pupils within the classroom and helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment. The role: Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required Providing additional support to children with a range of learning needs Helping to promote positive behaviour and engagement Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents The ideal candidate: Has previous experience working with children or young people Is enthusiastic, patient and passionate about supporting children''s education Can work effectively as part of a team Is available to work 5 days per week from September Holds an active DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one through Academics If you''re an experienced Teaching Assistant, or someone looking to take the next step in your career supporting children within education, we''d love to hear from you.
