Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant - Severe and Complex Needs Tradewind Recruitment - Sheffield Location: SheffieldPay: £100-£125 per day, depending on experienceContract: Full-time Term Time Only Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN setting in Sheffield, supporting children and young people with severe and complex additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about providing nurturing, consistent and highly individualised support to pupils who require a significant level of care and assistance throughout the school day. The pupils may have severe learning difficulties, complex communication needs, physical disabilities, autism and behaviours of concern. The successful candidate will need to be confident working with pupils who require a high level of adult support and understand the importance of patience, routine and consistency. The Role As a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for: Providing dedicated 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with severe SEN Supporting pupils with their learning, communication and development Providing a calm, nurturing and reassuring presence throughout the school day Helping pupils regulate their emotions and manage behaviours of concern Supporting pupils to develop independence and confidence Assisting with personal care where required Following individual support, behaviour and education plans ..... full job details .....
