Clarence Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful and supportive secondary school in Lincoln to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of ICT for a rolling contract commencing in September. This is an excellent opportunity to teach ICT across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, helping students develop the digital knowledge, technical skills and confidence required in today''s technology-driven world.

The Role


The successful ICT Teacher will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring ICT lessons across KS3 and GCSE.
  • Motivate students to develop their understanding of digital technologies, computing and online safety.
  • Plan, prepare and assess high-quality lessons that support excellent student progress.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities.
  • Monitor achievement and provide effective interventions where required.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, learning and student engagement.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the department and school community.
  • Encourage students to explore future pathways in technology, computing and digital careers.


We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching ICT within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge across KS3 and GCSE ICT.
  • Possesses excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.
  • Can inspire, challenge and motivate students to achieve their potential.
  • Has strong organisational, communication and assessment skills.
  • Is committed to raising standards and improving outcomes for young people.
  • Shares a strong commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
