GSL Education are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and adaptable Teacher to join schools in Portslade. This long-term role is ideal for someone committed to making a positive impact on pupils’ academic journeys across various subjects and key stages.

Role Overview:

As a Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students learning experiences through thoughtful lesson planning, strong classroom management, and a proactive approach to supporting pupil development.

Responsibilities as a Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons that meet curriculum objectives.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to a range of learning abilities and needs.
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate effectively with other teaching staff, support staff, and school leadership.

Requirements to be a Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is mandatory.
• Recent classroom teaching experience within the UK education system.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate pupils from diverse backgrounds.
• A full, up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
