Role Overview:
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of your pupils. You will foster a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour effectively, and support each child’s academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities as a Primary Teacher:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Adapt teaching to meet the varying needs of pupils.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Use assessment tools to monitor progress and inform teaching.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independent learning.
Requirements for the Primary Teacher role:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- A nurturing, engaging, and resilient approach to teaching.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
