About the role and our teamDue to external funding, we are currently recruiting for a Taxonomist and Information Architect to join our friendly and experienced Information Management (IM) team and lead the integration of our digital asset management system (DAMS) and collections management system (CMS) through a middleware solution. This role touches every part of the organisation including Conservation Collection Care and Collections Management, Public Engagement, Retail, Press, and Marketing and Membership. As Taxonomist and Information Architect you will develop, refine and integrate taxonomies to enhance and improve the use of HRP''s digital asset management system, collections management system, website content management system. Working with teams across all six palaces, you will collaborate with different teams to improve the interoperability of current systems, and identify opportunities for improvement.
