This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to take the next step in their career, working with a varied client portfolio and supporting both compliance and advisory work within a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities of the Tax Senior / Assistant Tax Manager: Manage and deliver personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory work. Provide proactive tax advice to a mixed portfolio of owner-managed and SME clients. Review and prepare tax computations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Liaise with HMRC and other stakeholders on client matters. Support partners with client meetings, technical queries and business development. Mentor and supervise junior members of the tax team, providing guidance and support. Skills and Experience Required of the Tax Senior / Assistant Tax Manager: ACA / ACCA / CTA (or equivalent) qualified or near qualified. Proven tax experience within an accountancy practice. Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate and personal taxation. Experience managing client relationships and supervising junior staff. Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. Commercially aware with a proactive and client-focused approach.
