Full training and ongoing development opportunities are available.The roleAs a Tax Assistant, you will support a portfolio of clients across a range of tax matters. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing corporate and personal tax computations and returns for submission to HMRC.Assisting with proposals for new client engagements.Coordinating tax payments, loss relief, capital allowances and other claims.Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge across corporation, business and personal tax.Communicating with HMRC on behalf of clients, both verbally and in writing.Liaising with colleagues across audit and accounting teams.Supporting smaller clients with day-to-day tax matters.Managing a small portfolio of tax clients and ensuring: Tax payments and returns are dealt with accurately and on time.Appropriate claims and elections are made.Tax planning opportunities are identified and pursued where ..... full job details .....
