Tax and Accounts Assistant

Accounts and Tax Assistant Location: Crewe Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are looking to recruit for an Accounts and Tax Assistant to become a part of an established multi-office accountancy firm based in Crewe. This role is perfect for someone with some Practice experience that wants to add value as well as learning more on the job. Day-to-day of the role: Limited company accounts and tax VAT returns Self-Assessment Tax Returns Bookkeeping Looking after existing clients Signing up new clients Required Skills and Qualifications: Positive attitude and great communication skills - both written and verbal. A good team player with a high level of attention to detail. Strong organisational and time management skills. Minimum of 2 years of Tax / Practice experience. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Dext, TaxCalc is desirable but not essential. AAT qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
