Audit and Accounts Manager Crewe, Cheshire c. £60,000 - £70,000 Be part of the next stage of a growing audit department. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Cheshire. Following sustained growth and a significant increase in new audit work, the firm is expanding its audit team with the creation of a brand-new leadership position. Working closely alongside the Audit Director, this role has been created to strengthen the department by providing day-to-day leadership, mentoring the audit team and overseeing the delivery of high-quality audit assignments. This is a key appointment within the business and an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit Manager ready to take the next step in their career. This is a hands-on leadership role where you''ll have the opportunity to influence the continued growth and success of the audit department while remaining actively involved in delivering audits for many of the firms larger and more complex clients. THE ROLE This is a varied position with an approximate 70% audit and 30% accounts and wider practice split, offering the perfect balance between technical delivery and leadership responsibilities. Working closely with the Audit Director, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the audit team while continuing to lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
