Surveyor

Job Title: Surveyor Type: Permanent Location: West London Salary: £50,375 per annum Hours: 37 hours BRC are working closely with a leading housing provider to recruit an experienced Surveyor to join their Homecare team. This role will provide property surveying services across the Homecare directorate, with responsibility for identifying and assessing property defects, providing technical solutions and supporting the delivery of maintenance and improvement works. Duties: Inspect and assess repair requests, defects and properties where technical surveying advice is required. Investigate technical defects and disrepair cases, including property inspections and preparation of Housing Conditions reports. Provide technical support to the legal department in relation to disrepair and legal claims. Provide technical maintenance advice to operational teams, contractors, subcontractors and consultants. Obtain quotations for repairs and specialist works where required. Provide technical approval and support for Disabled Facilities Grant applications and associated works. Support customer permissions and retrospective permission requests. Assist with planned maintenance programmes and property care requirements. Carry out property inspections to assess component replacement dates and identify works for inclusion within planned maintenance programmes.
