Supported Living Senior

We re looking for a Senior Support Worker to join a service providing supported accommodation for young people aged . The aim is to help young people build confidence, develop life skills and prepare for independent living, with the right support around them along the way. The role This is a hands-on position where you ll work directly with young people while taking the lead on the day-to-day running of the home during your shift. Your responsibilities will include: Building positive, trusting relationships and providing practical and emotional support. Helping young people develop independent living skills, including cooking, budgeting and managing daily routines. Supporting young people with emotional wellbeing, relationships and decision-making. Leading shifts, guiding Support Workers and making sure tasks are completed to a good standard. Completing handovers, daily records, incident reports and other necessary paperwork. Following safeguarding procedures, managing risks and responding calmly to challenging situations. Helping maintain a safe, clean and welcoming home. Supporting colleagues, including helping new staff settle into the team. Working with the wider team to ensure young people receive consistent support.
