We also run a Family Support Service offering advice and information for autistic individuals, their families, carers, and support workers. Our activities are driven by the needs of individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Supported Living Care Manager located in Strood. The Supported Living Care Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of supported living services, ensuring high standards of care and support for autistic individuals. Responsibilities include managing and supporting staff, developing personalized care plans, coordinating with families and healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The role also involves conducting assessments, maintaining records, and providing guidance and training for team members.Qualifications
Experience in care management, individualized support, and person-centered planningStrong understanding of autism spectrum conditions and strategies for supportExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to manage a team and work collaboratively with various stakeholdersRelevant qualifications in health and social care or related fieldsCommitment to high standards of care and continuous improvementExperience in the autism or disability sector is a plusEmpathy, patience, and the ability to build trusting relationshipsSeniority level
