Support worker required

We are currently seeking a Female Support Worker to provide care and support for a young person with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, possess excellent communication skills, and have a compassionate attitude towards others. It is essential to be sensitive to the needs of the individual in your care.-

The main responsibilities of this role include assisting with dressing, bathing, and feeding. Having knowledge of using hoisting equipment would be beneficial. Previous experience in a caring role would be an added bonus.

Before commencing employment, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced CRB check.- While having an NVQ 2 or above in a care environment would be desirable, it is not essential.

The working hours for this position are- split over the week hours to be discussed.

10-11 hours -per week and weekends are 1 in 4 working saturday 9-10.30 and 4-5 -Sunday 9-10.30 and 4-5.30

The specific times will be discussed to ensure coverage for sickness leave, and additional hours may be required to cover holidays. Flexibility in availability would be advantageous.
