About ELIFAR Day Centre:We are a Day Centre, that opens all year round Monday to Saturday. We offer support to adults with a range of learning disabilities and needs. All of our service users are offered 1:1 support or 2:1 support depending on their support levels. At our Day Centre we offer a wide range of activities such as swimming, trampolining, bouncy castle, arts and crafts, soft play facilities and sensory based activities. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and active staff who can support service users to take part in meaningful, enjoyable, and safe activities while promoting dignity, independence, choice, and wellbeing.Job Purpose:To provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities in a day centre setting. The role involves supporting individuals to develop life skills, participate in meaningful activities, and promote independence, choice, and inclusion within the community.Key Responsibilities:Support service users in their daily activities while following their personalised activity planner.Assist individuals with personal care tasks, where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.Work closely with service users to develop and implement person-centred support plans and goals.Promote independence and encourage service users to make choices about their own lives.Support individuals in accessing community services, attending appointments, and participating in off-site activities.Maintain accurate and up-to-date ..... full job details .....
