Support Worker
Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in adult care homes, supported living environments, or community settings. Requirements: Previous 6 month experience in care or support work is desirable but not essential. DBS on Updated Service. (Must) Moving and Handling Practical / Manual Training Certificate (Must) Medication Administration Practical Training Certificate (Must) Willingness to undertake training and professional development. Key Responsibilities: Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration needs. Support service users with medication administration in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist with mobility, transfers, and the use of mobility aids where required. Monitor and report changes in service users'' physical, emotional, or mental well-being. Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation. Promote safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity, and dignity at all times. Build positive relationships with service users, families, and healthcare professionals. Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred care and support plans.
