We are looking for a thoughtful and practical Personal Assistant to provide support with daily living activities, social opportunities and household routines.About the roleThis is a rewarding role supporting younger disabled people to live more independently and take part in the activities that matter to them. You will offer practical, respectful and person-centred support in daily life, helping each person develop skills, make choices and access their local community.What you ll be doing Supporting with cooking, meal planning and preparing simple, healthy meals.Helping with shopping, budgeting and organising everyday essentials.Assisting with household management, domestic chores, cleaning, laundry and keeping living spaces safe and comfortable.Encouraging independence by supporting people to learn and practise daily living skills at their own pace.Supporting access to social, leisure and community activities, such as clubs, appointments, cafés, local groups or days out.Providing friendly companionship, encouragement and practical support while respecting each person s choices, privacy and dignity.
