Support Worker Duration: 4-6 weeks temporary role Salary: £15.38 per hour plus £1.86 per hour holiday pay Location: On-site, located in South-East London, Woolwich Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time, flexible working arrangements considered Mondays and Tuesdays as fixed working days A third day which can be flexible (Friday would be particularly helpful) Wednesdays would not be suitable Thursday and Friday breakfast sessions run from 7:30am to 11:00am, and support during these times would be especially valued Start Date: early October DBS: Enhanced DBS required Charity People is delighted to be partnering with a leading London homelessness day service to recruit a Temporary Suport Worker. This is an opportunity to join a respected community-based organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction and mental health challenges. The organisation provides practical frontline support alongside longer-term interventions that help people access housing, healthcare and life-changing services. About the Role This is a highly rewarding frontline position supporting individuals who may be experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, housing insecurity, substance misuse or mental health challenges. Working as part of a small, dedicated team, you will provide assessment, triage and casework support, helping people access the services and resources they need to improve their circumstances and wellbeing.
