Support Worker / Care AssistantLOCATION: Bryn Irfon, Llanwrtyd Wells (LD5)SALARY:
£13.20 - £13.90 per hourHOURS:
35 hours
- 3 x 12 hour shifts per weekSHIFT PATTERNS: 08:30-21:00, 07:00-19:30, 21:00-08:30Please note Bryn Irfon is in a rural location with very limited public transport; ensure you can travel to the home before applying.About Bryn Irfon: At Bryn Irfon we provide residential support for 8 adults with Learning Disabilities, challenging needs and individuals with communication difficulties. We can also support people who may have Mental Health needs. We work with people with varied abilities and needs. We encourage and motivate each person to feel good about themselves and to lead happy and fulfilled lives.Responsibilities
Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.Supporting and encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.Assisting with personal care as required.Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.Experience within the care sector is not needed as training, coaching and development are provided.Why Join Us
