Agency Support Worker – Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs (NO SPONSORSHIP)

Location: Chesterfield (S44)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Job Type: Agency / Temporary
Shifts: Flexible – various shift patterns available

We are currently recruiting experienced Agency Support Workers to support a well-established healthcare and social care organisation providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

We are looking for compassionate, reliable and flexible Support Workers who are confident supporting individuals with a range of needs and who are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care.

This is an excellent opportunity for Support Workers looking for flexible agency work, with the opportunity to work a variety of shifts on a weekly basis.

We are particularly interested in Support Workers who can provide good availability across a range of shift patterns, which may include:

• 07:00 – 22:00
• 14:30 – 22:00
• 22:00 – 07:00
• 11:00 – 16:00
• 09:00 – 14:00
• 07:00 – 15:00

Please note: Shift patterns and availability will vary depending on service requirements. We are looking for candidates who are able to offer flexibility across different shift times and can commit to regular agency shifts each week.

We are seeking Support Workers who have:

• Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs
• A caring, patient and person-centred approach
• The ability to support individuals to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider care team
• Reliability and a strong commitment to attending agreed shifts
• Flexibility to work across different shift patterns
• A willingness to work across different services where required
• A professional attitude towards safeguarding, confidentiality and person-centred care

As part of our client''s requirements, successful candidates will need to provide evidence of relevant training and qualifications as part of the recruitment and compliance process.

Candidates must be willing to:

• Provide certificates/evidence of relevant training already completed
• Complete any mandatory training identified as outstanding
• Renew or update training where certificates have expired or are no longer current
• Complete additional client-specific training where required
• Maintain compliance with all relevant training requirements throughout their agency work

Please note: Having relevant training already completed is advantageous, but candidates should be prepared to undertake any additional or refresher training required by the client.
