Supply Chain Quality Manager

Morson are working with the leading aerospace manufacturer who are looking for a Supply Chain Quality Manager to join the team based at the Filton site in Bristol.AccountabilitiesImplement procurement strategy and develop supplier relationshipsDefine and execute supplier surveillance plansLead and verify compliance with applicable requirements alongside all relevant stakeholdersEnsure timely and quality deliveriesIdentify risks, monitor actions, report progress, and escalate issues as necessaryMain responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Engage proactively with suppliers to foster collaborationContribute feedback on sub-commodity strategy recommendationsSupport supplier selection and contract initiation processesAssist in evaluating change requestsFacilitate deployment of Supply Chain and Quality standards, methods and tools (e.g. APQP, AirSupply, eConcessions)Secure supplier approval and conduct Supplier Control Reviews (SCR)Assess supplier approvability and implement development plans where requiredKey Business Deliverables:Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)Plan of Action (POA) Quality FundamentalsQuality Assurance PlanProject Management PlanNADCAP complianceSupplier auditingIf you are interested in applying for this position please reply with an up to date CV. ..... full job details .....
