Supply Chain ManagerLocation: BournemouthSalary: £38,000-£45,000 DOE plus a commission shareHours: Full time, Monday to FridayTru Talent is delighted to be working with our well-established waste client, who are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of their national supplier network.This is a key commercial role, responsible for supplier relationships, procurement, negotiations, supplier performance and margin optimisation. Working closely with senior management, you''ll identify cost-saving opportunities, support tenders and new business, and ensure the business has a competitive and reliable supply chain.Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager: Managing and developing a national network of suppliersBuilding strong, long-term relationships with key suppliersIdentifying and onboarding new suppliers where requiredLeading supplier negotiations and securing competitive rates and termsReviewing supplier pricing and identifying cost-saving opportunitiesManaging annual supplier price increasesMonitoring supplier performance, service quality and KPIsConducting supplier reviews and audits and managing improvement plansSupporting tenders, new business opportunities and contract mobilisationProviding supplier costs and commercial insight to support customer pricingMonitoring supplier-side margins and identifying opportunities to improve profitabilityReviewing and improving procurement and supplier management processesProviding commercial analysis and ..... full job details .....
