The three Partner Trusts have set an objective of creating a singleprocurement function which will help support the sustainable provisionof clinical and non-clinical services.A newly formed Humber and North Yorkshire Procurement Collaborative, hosted by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, will provide procurement and supply chain services to its Partner Trusts, and may extend over time to service other bodies within the Integrated Care System.
You will work as a Trust Supply Chain Manager responsible for thereceipt and distribution and materials management service at the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS FT sites which comprise Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole and District Hospital. You may be required to provide support and cover for the other trusts as required.Main duties of the job
You will, through the agreed policies and procedures, provide technicaland specialist advice for the supplies function across the Trust regardingstock ordering and stock management principles. You will manage staffand contractors to ensure that a consistent and reliable materialsmanagement service is offered across the Trust which includes planningand coordinating workloads.Working independently within policies and procedures you will undertake a range of supply chain management activity but will have the ability toescalate any concerns where required. You will advise users and budgetholders on supply chain management policies and procedures and willundertake stock management activity for medium/high value goods.You will manage the performance of 17 supply chain management operatives and will actively support them in meeting their own development needs and aspirations.Working for our organisation

Knowledge of supply chain management principles from relevant professional qualification or vocational level 4, degree or equivalent experienceMember of CIPS or CILTExperience
Experience of specialism from previous supply chain management positionsExperience of managing teams across sites/areasNHS ExperienceExperience of inventory management processes and systemsSkills, Knowledge and Ability
