Purpose of the Role
To lead the onsite procurement and logistic/warehouse functions. This is a high impact position, working across the business as well as across the wider MPAC organisation. You will be crucial to positioning the supply chain function as a strategic partner within the wider organisation.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
Overall accountability for site supply chain performance across Compliance, Quality, Delivery, Cash and CostProvide daily oversight of supply chain operations ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant processesCoordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective collaboration between departments and collaborate with group colleaguesManage resource allocation including staffing, budgets, and infrastructure to meet business goalsFinancial Management
Develop and manage annual targets to improve supplier cash and cost performanceMonitor financial performance, address variances and implement corrective actionsEnsure cost-effective operations and identify cost optimisation opportunitiesMonitor and control working capital to maintain optimal liquidity and financial stabilityTeam Leadership and Development
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing supply chain teamDeliver effective, empowering operational leadership across large and diverse teamsDevelop and retain high potential talent with succession planning for critical rolesFoster a culture of learning, development, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementProvide coaching, training, and development opportunities for staff at all levelsCompliance and Risk Management
Ensure supplier base adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policiesIdentify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategiesSupport corporate initiatives related to business sustainability and environmental stewardshipStakeholder Engagement
Act as primary business representative to external supply baseBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholdersCommunicate supplier performance, challenges, and opportunities to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)Outputs/Deliverables
