This role will be based in the Midlands (Gaydon and/or Whitley), with a hybrid working model.About the RoleAs a Supplier Quality Management Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and reporting on supplier-provided raw materials, manufactured goods, and packaging, ensuring all meet or exceed defined quality standards.Key Responsibilities:- Verify and validate that suppliers and subcontractors are aligned with engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements.- Monitor quality control systems and activities at supplier/subcontractor facilities.- Ensure robust programs are in place to improve supplier performance and productivity.- Review and analyse corrective action reports, helping to eliminate defects and investigate quality issues.- Lead large-scale projects with minimal oversight, contributing as a subject matter expert.- Support and coach junior professionals within the quality function.Candidate Requirements- Extensive experience in Supplier Quality Management, ideally within the automotive sector.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to quality ..... full job details .....
