Sub Agent – Contract Inside IR35 Greatworth to Southam (Earthworks Team)

Based on the Greatworth to Southam section, this role offers the chance to be part of a nationally important infrastructure programme and contribute your expertise to a high-performing Earthworks team.
This is a contract position, Inside IR35, offering stability, excellent project exposure and the opportunity to work on one of the UK’s most exciting construction projects.
About The Role
As a Sub Agent, you will play a key role in supporting the construction strategy, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the construction strategy, including kick-off meetings and pre-commencement documentation (Method Statements, Environmental and Quality Plans, Construction Programmes, procurement and design deliverable schedules)
Working closely with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials and temporary works to achieve programme, budget and quality standards
Managing and developing the site engineering team, ensuring strong performance and professional growth of Section Engineers
Co-ordinating construction operations to meet contractual requirements and SHEQ standards
Supporting the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans
Contributing to financial forecasting, site measurement, material reconciliations and cost control
About The Candidate
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Sub Agent with:
HNC/Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Valid CSCS card (Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow, or Red Experienced)
SMSTS certification (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of site engineering activities and construction supervision
Proven experience in Earthworks (essential)
Previous experience in quality assurance and geotechnical management (preferred)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
