In this pivotal role, you will empower 16-19-year-olds to overcome barriers to learning, build key life skills, and successfully progress into higher education, apprenticeships, or employment. Serving as the key link between academic delivery and pastoral support, you will play a transformative role in guiding students toward their full potential.About the SettingThe college offers a modern learning environment focused on high educational standards and student welfare. Working within a collaborative pastoral team, you will liaise closely with curriculum leaders, safeguarding officers, and external agencies to ensure every student receives structured encouragement, interventions, and progression guidance.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging weekly group tutorials covering safeguarding, pastoral care, social action, study skills, and career readiness.Manage a caseload averaging 15 tutorial groups (approximately 300 students in total).Conduct structured 1-to-1 mentoring sessions to set SMART targets and monitor student progress.Lead attendance and behaviour interventions alongside curriculum teams, contacting parents/carers and external agencies ..... full job details .....
