Structural Engineer / Senior Structural Engineer

OverviewThink Civil and Structural Engineering are currently working with a Nottingham based consultancy who have an opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join their vibrant and forward thinking organisation. Our client have enjoyed a successful year with a significant uplift in their workload and are actively moving forwards with plans to expand their structural engineering team, as such they are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer with a solid grounding in design. With experience of working within a consultancy role, the successful candidate will be involved with live projects from day one, working with Senior Engineers within the business to produce designs in steel, concrete, masonry and timber for a variety of interesting and technically challenging projects.

Responsibilities

Work on live projects from day one alongside Senior Engineers to produce designs in steel, concrete, masonry and timber for a variety of educational, residential and leisure projects (new build and refurbishment).

Contribute to designs across sectors including educational, residential and leisure.

Qualifications and Skills

Good knowledge of design to BS and Eurocodes.

Strong command of industry standard design software.

Experience working in a consultancy environment.
