We are recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a specialist engineering business delivering industrial steel structures and engineering solutions across major energy sector projects.This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects spanning renewable energy, hydrogen, carbon capture, waste-to-energy and conventional power generation facilities. The RoleReporting to the Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in the analysis, design and delivery of industrial steel structures, supporting projects from concept through to completion. You''ll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and contribute to the successful execution of technically challenging projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structural analysis and design of industrial steel frame, braced-frame and portal-frame structures.Carry out detailed engineering calculations including connection design, foundation design and analysis of fabricated structures.Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and design codes including Eurocodes and ASCE 7.Review client specifications, drawings and technical requirements.Support the development of drawings, 3D models and engineering documentation.Review and check engineering work completed by ..... full job details .....
