RoleAs a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a diverse range of building structures from concept through to construction. Working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary design teams, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities- Carry out structural design and analysis for a variety of building projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
- Design structures using steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry.
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other members of the design team.
- Undertake site inspections and attend project meetings when required.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with current regulations, standards, and best practice.
- Support the delivery of projects on time and within budget.
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Previous experience within a UK structural engineering consultancy.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and UK Building Regulations.
- Experience working with a range of construction materials.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership (IStructE or ICE).
- Experience using Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, MasterSeries, or similar packages.
- Experience in refurbishment and retrofit projects.
- Full UK driving licence.
