Location: CrawleySalary: 28,000 per annumJob Type: PermanentThe OpportunityA growing Electrical and Communications contractor is looking for an organised and reliable Storesperson / Stores Coordinator to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of its busy stores operation.You will play an important role in ensuring materials, tools and equipment are accurately received, stored and made available to engineers and site teams when required.Key ResponsibilitiesManage goods in and goods out, ensuring deliveries and stock movements are accurately recordedOrganise and maintain stock levels across the storesOrder materials, tools and equipment as requiredLiaise with suppliers and track deliveriesPrepare materials, tools and equipment for engineers and site teamsCarry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory recordsKeep the stores organised, safe and efficientDeliver materials and equipment to site when requiredSupport the wider team with general stores and logistics dutiesAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience in stores, warehouse, logistics or stock controlStrong organisational skills and excellent attention to detailExperience within Telecoms, Electrical, Construction or Engineering, or with suppliers of related equipment and materialsGood IT and communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectivelyA full UK driving licenceWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company.
