Stores Person

Our valued client in Warwick is looking to recruit a Stores Person to join them on a permanent basis.

Duties will include:-

• Keeping accurate stock records of parts and materials
• Preparing stock hold forecasting reports
• Monitor stock turonver, identifying excess or obsolete inventory
• Assist in preparing financial reports, monthly and quarterly
• Raise and manage purchase orders on stock forecasts
• Supplier liaison
• Store audits
• Temperature control monitoring
• COSHH regulations compliance
• Shortage reports
• Receiving and despatching goods
• Working with transport provders
• Customs/Import/Export compliance-
• Liaising with Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers

Skills and Experience Required:-

• Previous experience in a Stores/Inventory role
• Familiarity with customs documentation and shipping pracitces
• COSHH regulations and Health and Safety standards
• ERP or warehouse management system desirable
• Microsoft excel and other office applications
• FLT preferred

Due to the nature of the business, the successful candidate will be required to obtain a DBS.
