Stores Person

Our valued client in Warwick is looking to recruit a Stores Person to join them on a permanent basis. Duties will include:- Keeping accurate stock records of parts and materials Preparing stock hold forecasting reports Monitor stock turonver, identifying excess or obsolete inventory Assist in preparing financial reports, monthly and quarterly Raise and manage purchase orders on stock forecasts Supplier liaison Store audits Temperature control monitoring COSHH regulations compliance Shortage reports Receiving and despatching goods Working with transport provders Customs/Import/Export compliance Liaising with Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers Skills and Experience Required:- Previous experience in a Stores/Inventory role Familiarity with customs documentation and shipping pracitces COSHH regulations and Health and Safety standards ERP or warehouse management system desirable Microsoft excel and other office applications FLT preferred Due to the nature of the business, the successful candidate will be required to obtain a DBS.
