Stores Operative

Main purpose of role: To ensure the distribution of necessary ingredients and packaging required to ensure continuous production. What you''ll be doing: Duties to include but not limited to: Taking delivery of all inbound deliveries, ensuring they are receipted, and stored safely and securely. Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments to co-ordinate receipt and distribution of ingredients and materials to production plants. Keep all storage areas clean and tidy. Ensure customer enquiries to department are dealt with effectively. Maintain the flexibility of the department/company as required by Stores Supervisor maintenance of work area ensuring safe manual handling techniques are used across the site. Always working in line with current Health and Safety regulations and company policies. Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments to co-ordinate receipt and distribution of ingredients and materials to production plants.
