As the Stores Assistant, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry. You will be involved in:Engineering and Material Support:Gather, stage, and deliver parts, consumables, hardware, and tools to mechanics in active bays prior to and during maintenance shiftsOrganise project kits and ensure hardware packages are complete and assigned to the correct bay or aircraft projectReturn used, specialised tools to the tool crib, ensuring they are logged back in according to standard operating proceduresAct as a dedicated liaison between the parts stores, tool room, and the active bay floor to minimise engineer downtimeBay Housekeeping and FOD Control:Keep designated maintenance bays, work benches, shadow boards, and tool carts clean, organised, and free of hazardContinuously sweep, inspect, and remove Foreign Object Debris (FOD) within the immediate workspace of the bayDispose of waste, scrap material, and ..... full job details .....
