This is a hands-on, on-site role supporting licensed Aircraft Engineers and Technicians in an active aircraft hangar. You will make sure the parts, tools and materials they need are in the right place at the right time, and that their working area stays clean, safe and free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD).You will work in an active hangar environment, so expect noise, industrial fluids and aircraft maintenance activity. You will wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety footwear, eye protection and ear protection.What You''ll Be Doing Engineering and Material SupportGathering, staging and delivering parts, consumables, hardware and tools to mechanics in active bays, before and during maintenance shiftsOrganising project kits and making sure hardware packages are complete and assigned to the correct bay or aircraft projectReturning used, specialised tools to the tool crib and logging them back in according to standard operating proceduresActing as the key link between the parts stores, the tool room and the bay floor, keeping engineer downtime to a minimumBay ..... full job details .....
