Stores and Kitting Operative

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stores and Kitting Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Partridge Green on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing small components, preparing accurate component kits and getting orders ready for dispatch to customers and other companies. This role would suit someone who has previously worked within a stores, warehouse, kitting or picking and packing environment or someone who has excellent attention to detail and looking to start a career as training will be provided. While there will be some general warehouse duties involved, the main focus of the role will be accurately picking components, preparing kits and ensuring orders are packed correctly and ready to be shipped. Key Responsibilities as a Stores and Kitting Operative: Pick small components accurately against picking lists and customer orders Prepare and assemble component kits ready for production or dispatch Pack components carefully and ensure orders are complete before shipment Label and prepare packages ready for dispatch to customers and other companies Check part numbers, quantities and components to ensure accuracy Maintain accurate stock records and update stock systems where required Carry out stock checks and assist with inventory control Receive, store and organise incoming stock when required Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised stores area Assist with other general ..... full job details .....
